We are led by the essence of Eugenia: Kiawah Island’s maiden avenue that exudes a classically timeless style. Majestic with her live oak canopy, she tells the stories of halcyon summer days spent on the Island. Breathing in the low country landscape aids in every culinary and stylistic decision that we make. She inspires us to source locally for our culinary creations whenever possible. Eugenia seemed like a natural extension to this unique café that is both a celebration of her classic, yet, quirky style and her love of bygone generations on the Island. The dinner parties thrown within the homes that line her footprint, last well into the morning hours and are filled with intellectual conversations and dancing under the starlit nights. History runs deep here, and she seeks to infuse her story with a bit of eclectic spunk to keep things fresh, unique and upscale. This time-honored avenue is our inspiration for Café Eugenia, where everything is seen through her eyes.

SOURCED LOCALLY

Kiawah Island and the surrounding area has an abundance to offer. Our goal is to incorporate locally sourced goods and a range of ingredients into our menu and retail store.

SELECTED SEASONALLY

Our menu is ever-changing. We strive to use seasonal ingredients when possible. This means that our winter salads differ from our summer dips, and our spring baked goods vary from our fall pies.

MADE FRESH DAILY

All of our menu items are made in-house and served fresh daily. We provide nutritious, tasty offerings that can serve a vacation crowd for dinner, a local for lunch and everyone else in between.
